We are already planning our next visit. We recently celebrated my husbands 30th birthday with some friends and we had an absolutely amazing time. We were so sad to leave. Thank you Andrea for the best time (and for being such a lovely host!). The house is absolutely beautiful, the photos really don’t do it justice. We had the best weekend sunbathing, swimming, enjoying the view and having dinner parties. We were so sad to leave. Loved that each bedroom was as nice as the next complete with beautiful quality linen and towels. The large kitchen was brilliant and made it such a pleasure to cook for the group, we literally ate every meal at the house. In every room there were stunning fresh floral arrangements straight from the garden which was a really thoughtful touch. Most comfortable lounge ever. The house is super spacious and with 10 adults we definitely all felt like we had enough space. The garage with a table tennis table and pool table, with beer fridge, provided plenty of entertainment.

La Riva was breathtaking I spent four nights over Christmas with my family and it was by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many all over the world. Although a little on the pricey side it was worth every penny. I honestly can’t say enough about this place, every detail is well thought out and beautifully appointed. Thank you Andrea and David and the team from La Riva and the Tinamba Hotel team for a wonderful Tinamba Hotel Fine Dining Experience Hosted at La Riva, part of the East Gippsland Winter Festival 2022. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, wandered though the beautiful gardens with sculptures and stunning river flat views. We enjoyed drinks and canapés by the pool with the sun setting and then a beautifully decorated long table for dining. It was intimate with the wood fire, lovely company and amazing food, matching wine and friendly service.

Loved our stay here. Awesome house with heaps of amenities, great location with ample privacy.

We had an excellent time staying at this property. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the two lovely hosts and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and spacious this property is. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable (It’s been a long time since I’ve slept somewhere so well, thank you for that). The second day we did a guided kayaking tour nearby and even saw some dolphins! In the afternoon we booked a helicopter ride with the host’s helicopter tour business which I can highly recommend to anyone staying here. Overall, I had a great experience staying here and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had an incredible stay at La Riva. Not only was Andrea a delight to deal with their website was super handy and the house was even better than the photos (didn’t think that was possible). It was not only luxurious but incredibly functional for a group of 8, couldn’t speak more highly of our stay.

What an experience! La Riva is an amazing property hidden in East Gippsland. Stunning gardens , amazing resort and hosts are more than accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for an amazing experience.

Excellent 5 star accommodation in a relaxing location. Andrea was very attentive to my requests, and as a busy professional & discerning traveller who, during Christmas 22, travelled with my family to LaRiva, we were very satisfied. The venue ticked all our boxes and was a perfect base for me to visit family, recharge, and plan our next part of our summer holiday. Cudos to Andrea & David for having a vision and staying true to its purpose. We will be back.

Stunning and relaxing at the same time. We celebrated a significant birthday for my wife with family and friends and could not have been happier with the experience. During the booking process Andrea was brilliant in making invaluable suggestions to make our weekend even better. We went with massages, a cruise up the Mitchell River and the private chef.It could not have run smoother thanks to David and Andrea. Thank you so much it was brilliant.

Do yourself a favour… stop reading, bite the bullet and book! The most enjoyable weekend staying at the fabulous Homestead. La Riva is so much more than a fabulous property and infinity pool!

After such a challenging year, this was our chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the Melbourne and reunite with our family and friends.

I’m not sure where to even start as we couldn’t get past the stunning entrance, gardens and house, it’s huge (!)

From the moment we contacted owners Andrea and David they went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The tailored experiences are just fabulous and they both took our stay from amazing to something purely magical.

The house itself is nestled on a perfectly manicured landscape with view of the Mitchell River that’s unforgettable! The infinity pool was very clean, warm and welcoming. All our guests had their own space with multiple dining rooms, seating areas and bedrooms set up to our required sleeping arrangements. The library is a winner baby… it has two comfortable sofa beds and an adjoining ensuite, if you are wondering if the sofa beds are appropriate or comfortable, they absolutely are! In fact, I will be asking Andrea where she got them from as my father in law is 73 with a bad hip and he was so comfortable. Finally a regional stay with the right Technology (!) we had reception, fast WIFI and sexy Bose speakers and smart TV’s throughout.

Don’t bring anything! That was our big mistake…They seriously have everything you need… just bring food and drinks as everything is fitted out perfectly, we had a fabulous roast dinner one night and realised we forgot flour for the gravy, after a few wines we weren’t able to get to the shops and cheeky us messaged Andrea - without hesitation Andrea dropped some around for us (!)

I could go on for hours but all you need to know is it’s time for you to stop reading, bite the bullet and book!

If we all have learnt anything in the last two years it’s that life is too short to procrastinate so when Andrea suggests booking the private dinner and helicopter ride (their other business) don’t hesitate, you will regret it as both are unforgettable and worth every cent and more!

OMG, Wow, stunning, bliss, picturesque, heaven, I could go on for ever about La Riva. What an absolute amazing home. After being locked down due to COVID restrictions and not being able to travel overseas I would thoroughly recommend a stay at La Riva resort, you’ll have it all to yourselves. Great place to spend with family and friends whether swimming in the pool in the morning, afternoon bush walks and nighttime competitions with the kids, over chess, pool and table tennis, kept us amused for hours. Not an Xbox in site.!Thanks once again to the wonderful hosts. Look forward retuning in the future for more amazing times. Don’t pass this place by. Well worth the investment but you won’t want to leave.

What an amazing stay. The pool was fantastic, and the views were breathtaking. Andrea was great with communication, making everything smooth and easy. The place had everything you could need and was even better in person. Highly recommend!
